Reflecting on 2025

As we close the doors on another successful year at Farmer Auctions, I find myself reflecting on the incredible community that makes our work possible.

To our sellers: Thank you for the immense trust you place in us. We understand that your home and personal property are far more than just "things"—they are vessels for memories and nostalgia. It is an honor to be entrusted to represent you for the promotion and sale of these items, and we remain committed to treating every asset with the care and respect it deserves. We are extra grateful for the many referrals you provide about our services to your friends, family, and colleagues. 

To our buyers: When we meet with our sellers, we reassure them that we have the largest marketplace of dedicated buyers in the greater Roanoke Valley and beyond.  You guys always prove us right, by continuously participating in our auctions and competing for items. This gives our sellers the confidence to know that they have realized fair market value for their items.  We thank you for your consistent business. 

To my team: I truly believe we have the best staff around. I consistently hear from our clients about your professionalism, empathy, and tireless work ethic. You are the heartbeat of this company.  

Looking ahead to the New Year, our focus remains on you. We are invested in providing the best service possible by expanding our marketplace, prioritizing continuing education, ensuring our team has the most up-to-date knowledge and

tools in the industry.  As I always say, at Farmer Auctions, auctions are a full-time profession...not a hobby.
