Farmer Auctions is honored to present this online-only, fine art and decorative auction, which features a vast collection of art from the Estate of Peter Wreden.  Peter Wreden (1929-2013) was a Roanoke Valley regional painter and sculptor widely known for his "Sculpture to Wear", which were often large, gestural, sterling pendant necklaces.  In addition to his own works, he collected the art of his colleagues, and much of this collection showcases his connection to and interest in regional art.

Payment Information: We DO NOT have access to credit card information. You must contact us directly to make payment unless you are paying your invoice online using our website (http://www.farmer-auctions.com/payments/) or, if you have registered thru Invaluable's bidding platform you can use the "Submit Secure Payment" option at the bottom of the invoice. Payment is due within 2 business days (48HRS) after the sale and can be made by check, wire transfer, cash, Visa or MasterCard. You may pick up or arrange pick up of purchases when payment is cleared.
If you registered online for the auction thru Invaluable's bidding platform and we have not received your payment after four (4) days from the invoice date, we will automatically charge the credit card used when you registered with Invaluable unless other arrangements have been made. If we have not received your payment by seven (7) days from the invoice date, you will be charged an additional $50 per day late payment fee.

Shipping Information: Farmer Auctions does not have a shipping department. Please consider shipping charges prior to bidding. If you are in need of a shipper in order to receive your purchases, we have two shippers in our area. Contact them directly to obtain quotes for the packaging and delivery of your items, or make your own arrangements. 
Payment is expected within 48 HRS after the sale. We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, company checks, money orders and certified checks. Checks should be made out to Farmer Auctions. Purchases will only be released to the shipper when they are paid in full (by credit card approval or when checks clear the bank) to Farmer Auctions. Payment for shipping is due directly to the shipper. Please notify us of the shipper you will be using.

As stated in the Terms & Conditions, successful bidders have 5 days to remove their purchases from the Auction Gallery. After 10 days, a monthly storage fee of $50 will be charged to the account.

Buyer's Premium: All online bidders pay a 20% buyer's premium, regardless of payment method. All bidding at auction and all purchases will be in U.S. Dollars.

Taxes on your purchase: Sales Tax: We must charge 5.3% VA sales tax on the sum of the hammer price plus buyer's premium if the buyer lives in Virginia or picks up in Virginia, unless he/she has a valid resale license and has completed the necessary Virginia certificate of exemption (available from Farmer Auctions).
