Andrew S. Monti moved from New Jersey to Summers County, West Virginia, nearly 20 years ago. The town of Hinton became his life long home as he had a vision to become a philanthropic and contributing member of the community. He focused his energy and income on bettering the county, spending numerous hours restoring vacant, dilapidated rental buildings - while providing decent housing and employment to many. He also had a passion for enhancing the green spaces throughout the town of Hinton. A kind soul to many he contributed his generosity - even at his death. In addition to his lifetime giving, his legacy will be remembered by the gifting of a majority of his estate to two organizations that contribute to the lives of children.
He passionately collected items from a wide and eclectic variety of eras and genres including: Sports cars, corn shellers, art, glassware, vintage bicycles, mid century modern items, antique tools and farming equipment, coal mining artwork, antique refrigerators and dental chairs. One can also find contemporary furniture, televisions, lighting, tools and so much more.
Enjoy perusing this fascinating and diverse estate!
