This coin and currency collection was delivered to us by a family from Green Sulphur Springs, WV. The collection was amassed over the course of a lifetime by a special needs member of the family whose passion was collecting coins. The family had never opened the safe and delivered it to our gallery where we opened it for the first time....together.   What we found was a diverse collection of various denominations, grades and eras - as good as any we have ever seen from a single individual. Saying Goodbye to a Historic Roanoke landmark business........The Roberts family and Yellow Cab have provided taxi service to the Roanoke area since 1933. This auction features the sale of the entire 2020 fleet of taxi cabs including an amazing 1962 Studebaker Lark taxi from the 1962 Yellow Cab fleet. Also available are luxury airport town cars, and passenger vans. A large assortment of tools and equipment from the Yellow Cab automotive garage is also featured. Rounding out the collection are unique items from the taxi business (light toppers, meters, trunk ads, etc.). We are humbled to have been selected for this final sale from this landmark business.
